1. Althea ( Price: P459 )
2. Ariane ( Price: P398 )
3. Diane 35 ( Price: P656 )
4. Yaz ( Price: P889 )
5. Yasmin ( Price: P905 )
Woman with PCOS taking pills may or may not experience side effects. Remember different type of pills affect the body differently and side effects may vary from one woman to another. Here are the common side effect of pills.
- Sore breast
- Weight gain or loss
- Mood Swing
- Lower Libido
I started my pills last month and I’m on my 2nd pack of Diane now. Had some spotting and mood swing. I asked for doctor’s advice and as per her, my body hormone is still on adjustment period and better wait until I finished the 2nd pack. If may spotting pa din, magchange na ko ng ibang brand. But planning to change to Ariane pill, mas cheap compare to Diane and Althea but same lang naman sila, generic ata ng dalawa un Ariane #BUDGETarianMOM 😅. Hopefully mahiyang ako. As per dra., hiyangan lang talaga when it comes to pills.
I have PCOS so aside from birth control ( cs mom here and my son is only one but I’m still praying for blessing no.2 soon ), pills also helped me more in regulating my menstruation and balance my hormone. I had a longest cycle of 67, a month before I consulted an OB that’s why I was prescribed to take pills again. I know, we woman with PCOS struggle differently but what’s more important is we keep on moving and living our life to the fullest! 😊
I’m also planning to change my lifestyle, hopefully di lang maging plan and maging action na. 😂 Remember that healthy and active lifestyle is the most efficient way to battle PCOS. 😊
